Why Join DWLA
Established in 1976, The Dana Wharf Lady Anglers have gained the memberships of many women with prestigious and diverse backrounds. Over the years the DWLA have become one of many prestigious fishing clubs, setting the standard for conservation and promoting angling competition among women . By joinging the DWLA, not only do you gain a feeling of friendliness, goodwill, and familiarity among our group of amazing women, but you will gain a lifetime of memories, adventures, and life long frienships.
I have been a member for 2 yrs, The Ladies are always so friendly and helpful. You make quite a few friends. The diverse group has a lot of insite on new techniques and ideas. The best part is when you bring in your tuna, the ladies are so supportive and cheer you on. Like they say " It's never a bad day when your on a boat"
What an amazing Group! The DWLA has been a part of my family for years and the experiences have been incredible. The most memorable moments are when the DWLA get together for overnight trips, a lot of laughs and memories. What makes the DWLA so special are the members and sportmanship.
The ladies will go out of their way to make sure members get the best experience possible.
The ladies are very welcoming to new members and offer to help them if they are just learning. They offer to let them use different rods and reels that might make catching the fish easier.
I am a member because the ladies are so loving and giving, more than helpful. We always have such a fun time together.
